am a teacher of Physical Education and Science who has been diving since
1995. Having long been interested in identifying fish and especially
in finding pipefish under water, I answered a request for help from Robert
Browne to do some hand netting in late 2003.
Since that time I have devoted almost all of my recreational diving to the searching for, observing and photographing small demersal fish in South Australia with pipefish being the main focus. Broadening my activities to include very shallow water I have hand netted many areas and am building a database of the fish that I find. I enjoy expanding what is known about temperate marine fish species. .................Kevin Smith |
